wow, finally you did the post!Ok, hmm, I don't get why your family eat 包子 in 春节。包子is bun.. i think usually people will eat 饺子..and remember in class we talked about 包饺子which means to "make"饺子，as “包“will be used as a verb for "wrap" here.
